WordPress.com, the parent service of VideoPress and the infrastructure behind our video upload and processing systems, experienced 110 minutes of unscheduled downtime. An unscheduled change to a core router by a WordPress.com datacenter provider knocked the site offline. VideoPress video files, hosted on our content delivery networks, were unaffected by the outage.
